Aina Mas Sánchez (Ph.D. student)

Scientific profile

Aina Mas Sánchez is a PhD student at Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology Group (GBMI). She is graduated in Human Biology from Pompeu Fabra University, where she obtained her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Industry and Biotechnology. She gained international working experience with a research stay in the group of Prof.Dr. Magdalena Götz at the Helmholtz Zentrum München. Her current research is focused on analyzing the role of polyphenols on the folding process of rhodopsin retinitis pigmentosa mutants and to determine the stabilizing effects of these compounds on selected retinitis pigmetosa mutants.
