MSc. Diana Rivera R.
MSc. Diana Rivera is graduated in Process engineering with emphasis on biotechnology from EAFIT University in Colombia, where she was working with rhizobacteria as an alternative approach to solve black sigatoka disease problems in banana cultures. She has also a master degree in Biotechnological engineering from UPC and belongs to GBMI group since 2011. She has experience with GPCR protein interactions and characterization of natural bioactive compounds and their application for cosmetic and biomedical products. She has been participating in industry-driven European research projects in the area of applied biotechnology, nanotechnology and health. Currently she combines her research work with the management of european projects for a medical devices and cosmetic company.
