Dr. Ivan Ivanov is a María Zambrano researcher in the Applied Biotechnology research division at the GBMI. Dr. Ivanov has a background in chemical engineering, organic chemistry and bioelectrochemistry and gained international scientific experience at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, Germany and the Penn State University in the USA. His research interests include biomimetics and artificial cells, bioelectrochemistry, and drug delivery.
