Pol Fernández González (Ph.D. student)
Scientific profile
Pol Fernández González is a doctoral student at the Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology Group (GBMI). He graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His current research focuses on studying the molecular basis of disease associated with mutations in G-protein-coupled receptors, with particular focus on mutations in the photoreceptor rhodopsin causing retinal degenerationss.
