Sundaramoorthy Srinivasan has obtained Masters in Advanced Biochemistry from University of Madras, India. With the qualification of CSIR-NET, he worked as junior researcher for a year at Anna University, India. His current research involves molecular Investigation of cone opsins and their mutants causing retinal disorders. His study mainly focuses on structure-function relations of cone opsins, and their impairment during color blindness.
