Scientific profile
Fabiana Andrade is a researcher at the Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology Group (GBMI). She holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minho (Portugal), with a specialization in Biomaterials, Rehabilitation, and Biomechanics. During her Master’s studies, she carried out her thesis at the 3B’s Research Group (Portugal) developing 3D in vitro brain tumor models. Her current research focuses on the development of 3D in vitro skin models to evaluate nanobased hydrogels for applications in chronic wound treatment.
